I’ve got no basis on this but I would think Stowers would want to get away from home. Living in that area of town, I would think he would want to get out of Peoria. Zobrist is a different story as Metamora is about as far from central Peoria as you can get in terms of stability and culture. Not bashing anyone or anyone but just my opinion. I could see him going to ISU or SIU so his mom can still see all his games and see one for sure when they visit BU. I know his game is different from Zobrist but they are both off guards. Seems like they would be competing for minutes. Still hopeful we get him though! Love getting the local kids!

Maybe there is a connection to Nic Reynolds who is on the coaching staff at Wyoming. He is a Peoria guy.

He says he will take all 5 visits and will make his decision in October.
I don't get the draw of Wyoming for all of these basketball players.

You have to think Bradley is the odds on Favorite to land Leshawn. However, one never knows. One of those other schools may sway him away. I have to believe Bradley did its best to get him no matter the outcome.

I always thought how great Bradley would have consistently been in these later years if only we could keep the talent!!!! Peoria is a great city now which of course wasn't always the case! I hope Coach never gives up a chance especially in this transfer portal to get excellent talent back home!
This would be great for him and Bradley if he chooses to play for the Braves. Him and Zobrist would make for a great pair of guards on our team. It is so important to have good guards in the Valley. I do not think though he has made his choice because of the question marks. Whatever it takes to finalize the deal needs to happen soon.

To be fair, unlike the 1990's and early 2000's, there has not been a great deal of D1 talent coming out of Peoria high schools in recent years.
What Peoria players would fans have liked Bradley to get in recent years that they didn't offer and 1) that were not high-major recruits and that they had a realistic chance to land and 2) were difference-makers and would have made BU better?

Leshawn Stowers just posted this on his twitter page - https://x.com/Leshawn309/status/1820209454391988470

    "Staying home ????"

I'm not sure this constitutes a commitment yet, since he adds four question marks. But he seems to like Bradley. And I suspect his mom would like to see him stay at home.
