True. Certa's first scholarship offer was from Brian Wardle last July. Prior to that point, he was not recognized as a clear-cut D1 prospect. Some kids take time to develop. But after a great summer, he had about a dozen offers.

The cost to attend Notre Dame is in excess of $80,000 per year (tuition alone is >$60,000) so he's getting a great education and a lot of value for his scholarship.
If, for some reason, it doesn't work out, I'd still love to see him at Bradley.

Actually, from what I had read before the announcement, Illinois was slow playing him because of questions about his athleticism and defense at the next level.

He scored 47 points in a State Farm Classic semi-final game Wednesday night, and 24 points tonight in the championship game, which they lost to Normal U-High. He is averaging 30 points per game for the season, so far. He now has interest from Illinois and Penn State.

Cole Certa commits to Notre Dame.

I haven't seen him play, but I have heard from someone who has watched him this spring that he is playing well. He is much improved.
He's playing with the Illinois Wolves this offseason.
His Dad, Tim, coached my son in high school. Tim was a pretty good athlete himself

Agree with Da Coach. Eoin Dillion is a good D1 prospect. Local players important to Bradley overall success.

Thanks DC, your recruiting info is second to none. I'll pass on Dillon, just doesn't impress me as a D1 player. The others I would take, especially White and Stanton. White looks amazing and Stanton looks to be a great 3-point shooter, cut from the same mold as Hickman.

A few more 2024 names Bradley now in contact with-

2024 Colin White- 6'6" junior combo guard at Ottawa-Glandorf High School in Ottawa, Ohio. He also plays with Indiana Elite program and has had several impressive performances this spring.

Watch Colin White's videos and highlights on Hudl. More info: Ottawa-Glandorf High School - Varsity Boys Basketball / SG / Class of 2024 / Ottawa, OH

2024 Jason Jakstys- 6'10" junior center at Yorkville HS, Yorkville, IL.

2024 6'11" Forward Jason Jakstys High School Highlights from the 2022-23 season.

Watch Jason Jakstys's videos and highlights on Hudl. More info: Yorkville High School - Boys' Varsity Basketball / SF, PF, C / Class of 2024 / Yorkville, IL

2024 Jack Stanton- 6'2" point guard at Downers Grove North HS

And Bradley continues to closely follow-
2024 Eoin Dillon- 6'9" forward at Peoria Notre Dame HS. We reported that Bradley was recruiting Eoin Dillon a year ago, but he has developed into a definite D1 prospect this past season, and continues to improve. He is playing with MidPro Academy this spring and summer.

That's a bit surprising. Here are his numbers for the 3 years he played at UNCG and Cincinnati-
