Here's a thought from way out in left field. In checking the success professionally of Malevy Leons, and checking the success of
Zek who transferred BACK to Bradley for his final year (starter, earned preseason honors, ranks among the MVC leaders in scoring and leads the MVC in 3-pt shooting)
Add to that, Nebraska just got whalloped by 37 points against Michigan State and doesn't look so strong this season, may miss the post-season...
..also doesn't have really anybody of significance signed for next season, could be a rebuilding year....
while Bradley has put together some real good numbers the past few seasons....

Is it possible Rienk Mast may want to consider playing his final season, 2025-26 at Bradley and not stick around the cornfields for a rebuild?
I kinda know the fans and likely Coach Wardle wouldn't mind....
It would be great to have him back, but the situation would be a bit different than it was last spring. Zek was unhappy because he was forced to play out of position at Rhode Island, and was demoted from his starting spot. He wanted to return and play with his friends at Bradley, where the style was more conducive to his abilities, and where the had the ball in his hands more and was able to be more involved in the offense. The other guys wanted him back and lobbied the coaches for it to happen. But with Rienk, that won't happen. All the guys he played with will be gone next season.

Watching San Francisco/ Memphis and I would say we need about 4 bigs to be very athletic. My god we will have our hands full with San Francisco. We keep rebounding like crap no way we even have a chance.

I would rather have a 6-9 220 lb. athletic big man because we are playing a faster paced game and with the guards we will have next year and hopefully beyond we need more athletic bigs. We are currently in need of a big wing, pf. and a center. I prefer to bring in players with experience that have proven they can compete at this level.

I agree Big Mike. I was did not see the allure. I am also for getting a strong interior presence, but I would prefer a more athletic one.

Yes, thanks for pointing out the difference.
But he was also recovering from an ACL surgical repair on his knee, and that might have worked against him his first year competing. His stats jumped up significantly his second season after having another year to get stronger and more confident with his repaired knee. He still had a nice freshman season and was named to the MVC All-Freshman team. And he lead Bradley in 3-point shooting percentage his freshman year.

Alabama has lots of NIL money, though most of it goes to football. But no doubt, there is still a buch available to lure basketball recruits.
Good for Davion. Hope it works out for him. I think you are correct that Bradley hasn't been involved for a while.
