New name- 2023 Traijan Sain-6'5" senior wing from Cedar Rapids Washington HS. Averaged 17.1 ppg and 6.3 rpg as a junior, and 16 ppg this season, and is considered one of the top uncommitted shooters/scorers in the state of Iowa in the class of 2023.

A problem is determining what scholarships will be open. What seniors will be back? Who or how many may want to transfer?

Well, JaShon can't come back and Malevy has already stated he is, so that leaves Rienk and Ville. That's good news in my book! Would be nice to have one more year with both of them. One new recruit name- 2023 Jeremiah Talton- 6'6" SG/wing at John Wood Community College in Quincy, IL. He is averaging 21.6 ppg, 5.3 rpg, shooting 45.6% overall, and 41.0% from three. He is from Quincy, and graduated from Quincy HS.

A few new names from the transfer portal that Bradley has been in contact with. There will probably be others-
Marquise Kennedy- 6'1" senior guard who just finished his 4th season at Loyola, and entered the transfer portal yesterday (Wed. 3/15). Bradley offered him out of Chicago Brother Rice High School in 2019.

Kennedy has been a part-time starter for Loyola for 4 seasons, but he had his best season as a freshman, when he shot 51.4% overall and 38% from three. He has been less consistent the last 3 seasons. Other MVC teams are also recruiting him.
He has 1 season of eligibility left as a grad-transfer for his Covid season.

Hysier Miller- 6'1" sophomore point guard at Temple University. He entered the transfer portal Tuesday (3/14)-

Temple finished 2022-23 with a record of 16-16, and 10-8 in the AAC. They were the 5th seed in the AAC tournament, and were eliminated in their first game by #4 seed Cincinnati 84-54. Miller started every game for the team this season and averaged 8.6 ppg and 3.8 assists per game. He is a native of Philadelphia.

Johnny O'Neil- 6'9" junior forward at American University of the Patriot League who entered the portal this week. AU finished the 2022-23 season 17-15, 7-11. They won their first 2 games in the Patriot League Tournament, before losing in the semifinal to Lafayette in double-overtime. O'Neil played 49 of the 50 minutes in that final game, and had 14 points and 8 rebounds. He averaged 11.3 ppg and 6.6 rpg on the season. He lead the team in 3-point percentage with 39.2% from three. He also lead the team in blocks with 51 for the season. He is originally from Miami Gardens, Florida..

I get chasing Kennedy to shore up PG, but O'Neil sounds like a great fit. We need 3 pt shooting, and athleticism. If he has that many blocks one would hope he is athletic.Comment

He is originally from Nashville, TN, where he did his first 3 years of high school. He finished high school at Donda Prep, the basketball prep academy in Simi Valley, California. that was founded by Kanye West. He originally committed to Rutgers, but later committed to BYU. At BYU, he redshirted this past year so he still has 4 years of eligibility left.
