Maybe Burch and JJ will be a superstar crew though and we can just build around them. Atlason also has a ton of potential - guys don't always get it year one but you can tell when they have talent.

I noticed that, too. That senior-heavy roster is one reasons Bradley should be one of the top, if not the top, team in the MVC in 2024-25. But it depletes the roster the following year (2025-26). It appears as of now, that only 5 players are on target to return in 2025-26 (Atlason, Jonovic, Burch, Johnson, and van der Knapp). None of them are likely to be among Bradley's top contributors in '24-'25. Hopefully, our coaches land 2 or 3 more transfers with the open scholarships this spring, who have more than one season of eligibility left. Otherwise, it looks like '24-'25 could be a rebuilding season.

So as of now, Bradley will expect to receive NLI's only from Jaquan Johnson and Timoty van der Knaap.
Transfers like Zek Montgomery and Connor Dillon are eligible to sign scholarship agreements, though those do not have any binding effects like an NLI does.

Last year, there were reports that the NCAA and the NLI organization were going to make some changes, one of which was to include transfers in signing NLI's. But the earliest such a change would take effect is in the 2024-25 year if it happens. - https://www.cbssports.com/college-fo...le-per-report/ (see 3rd bullet point following the 2nd paragraph)

Bradley has been recruiting Amari McCottry for a year or more - https://www.bradleyfans.com/forum/sp...741#post510741
But now he appears to be one of Coach Wardle's top targets - https://www.bradleyfans.com/forum/sp...559#post519559
Recall that Coach Wardle said this in an interview with Dave Eminian a couple days ago-
Bradley has a scholarship — and maybe two — to burn yet. Wardle says the Braves are looking for a guard or forward in the open scholarship.
"We're looking for a younger player, probably a high school kid," Wardle said. "I love all the pieces we have."

A couple new 2024 names Bradley has recently been in communication with-
2024 Michael "Isaia" Howard- 6'6" shooting guard from Plattsburg HS in Plattsburg, Missouri. He was previously committed to North Dakota State, but he just withdrew his commitment today. He was a prolific scorer in high school, totaling over 3,000 career points. He averaged over 34 points per game as a senior.

2024 Patrick Rowe- 6'7" wing at Chisago Lakes HS in Lindstrom, Minnesota. He is another prolific scorer from a small school who averaged over 30 ppg his senior year. He has been contacted by a dozen or more D1 schools, but there are no reports of offers.

He ended up committing to Wofford College in South Carolina. He had a great year there as a freshman, starting all 33 games, and averaging 15.1 ppg, 2.7 rpg, and 3.7 apg. He shot 49.3% overall and 39.3% from three. He transferred to Iowa State a year ago, and his sophomore season at Iowa State didn't go as well. He averaged only 10.5 minutes per game off the bench, 3.4 ppg, 1.0 rpg, and 1.0 apg.
So now he is in the portal again, looking to transfer a second time. The Bradley coaches are familiar with him from some recruiting contact when he was in high school.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.
