Seems like the Transfer Portal has elevated the lower division 1 teams up to the mid-level division 1 teams. CaL Baptist, Tarleton State, Liberty. I would not have given them a second notice a few years ago. Now they are more competitive

Interesting point. Makes sense that portal dynamics would go up and down through various levels of d1 ball. Recruiting d2 and juco appears to be more important than ever.
