Nice effort by an undermanned Braves squad. Totally agree on Ville...when not hitting 3's is such a major liability to the team. Leons needs to start forcing offense or this team is going nowhere...period. Hate losing to pearl, such a cheating scumbag and the announcers praise him as one of the best recruiters in D1. Kinda hate to say it but Ville shooting just 1 for 8 on 3’s isn’t going to do us any good. Hickman had a good game and Leon’s just needs to shoot more. I thought we fought hard tonight but to much to overcome with 3 of your best players not on the floor. Hopefully we can pickup a win over Liberty tomorrow.

but what made that event even worse, is that NCAA investigators had photos from that illegal recruiting cookout
and asked Pearl about it and even showed the photos to Pearl - and yet Pearl continued to LIE and claim it was not his house
and that he never entertained those recruits.

Also, little reported are the multiple recruiting violations Pearl also had while at Milwaukee- including tampering with a Bradley player &

I understand we were overmatched physically, but we fell short of my expectations for toughness and effort. Our guys were engaged and tried, but I never got the feeling they bought in to the belief in winning that game. Need to flip that script tonight.

Yes, I thought that was evident, too. But I think it was because some of our toughest and most aggressive players were the ones who were out- Rienk, Zek, Ja'Shon.
I thought the 5 starters played tough and had good effort, but Coach Wardle was forced to play some guys a lot of minutes who usually don't play in those situations. I hope the learning experience will help develop guys like Linke, Davis, & Biliew, but we really need to get those injured guys back. I'm not sure we win the game even with everyone healthy, but I believe Bradley would have stayed in the game to the end.
