Belmont with a nice come from behind win over a good Ohio team. Valpo, and Murray State with losses to very good teams. Makes Bradley's overtime loss at the buzzer to St. Louis (in the secret scrimmage) more impressive.

Evansville got good production from preseason All-MVC picks Ben Krikke and Kobe King, and 6th year transfer from D2 Cedarville, Quinton Green had 20 points and was 5-8 from three. But they got virtually nothing from their bench.
Toledo is very good. They were picked 2nd in the MAC preseason poll-
CLEVELAND, Ohio - Kent State has been selected to win the MAC regular season and tournament title in the 2022-23 Men's Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll. The Bulls received six first place votes to win the regular season championship, while grabbing four votes to win the Tournament title. Ten of the league's top men's basketball players were also selected to the Preseason All-MAC first and second teams as announced by the league office.

Green Bay is not very good. They were picked 10th out of 11 teams in the Horizon League preseason poll. The Sycamores shot 54% overall and 48% from three. DePaul transfer Courvoisier McCauley had 23 points. OTOH, Cooper McNeese, 1st team preseason All-MVC, had only 2 points.
Ex-Bradley player Jayson Kent had 4 points, 4 rebounds, but had 5 steals off the bench.

Ohio was picked 5th in the 12 team MAC conference. Belmont shot 49% overall, but they were just 7-25 (28%) from three. Preseasom all-MVC pick Ben Sheppard had 18 points

This was one-sided from the start. Trinity shot only 28% overall, and 25% from three, were outrebounded 51-31, and had 20 turnovers.

WIU was picked 7th in the Summit League. ISU somehow managed to blow a 13 point second half lead and lose at home to them. Ex-BU player Stephan Gabriel had 5 points off the bench for WIU.

SIU shot 58% and outrebounded Little Rock 48-25. Little Rock was picked 6th in the weakened 10-team Ohio Valley Conference.

Evansville (picked 12th in the MVC) lead the entire game at Miami (picked 11th in the MAC). One-time Bradley recruit who transferred to Evansville from Alabama State, Kenny Strawbridge, was the leading scorer with 23 points. Evansville's next game is Saturday at St. Louis. Good luck Aces!
