Chicago State, one of the last D1 teams to name a new coach, announces at 8:05 pm on a Saturday night that they have hired Scott Spinelli as their new head coach - https://www.gocsucougars.com/news/20...niversity.aspx
Spinelli has been an assistant coach at Chicago State for 1 season.
Good luck to him, he'll need it. Chicago State is one of the worst head coaching jobs in the country. They have been without a conference for the last 2 years, and next year, they will join the Northeast Conference. - https://sports.yahoo.com/chicago-sta...183200143.html
Here are where the teams in the Northeast Conference are located. Chicago State will be about 1000 miles from the other schools on average. (note: St. Francis Brooklyn will drop all athletics at the end of this school year and drop out of the NEC)

I watched that game. I was rooting for Jim Les. Disappointing!
Former Bradley star and NBA sharpshooter Jim Les played for Marathon in 1989 and went off for 32 against Penn State (Note item #8 )
also, both the Big Sky and the West Coast Conference are rumored to be looking to expand....with football being
an important consideration.
