The list of coaching changes now at 30-
        https://hoopdirt.com/2023-college-ba...anges-tracker/

Only one has a newly assigned head coach (Adrian Autry at Syracuse). 7 others have Interim Head Coaches, but some of those will seek new head coaches. One exception is Texas, where Interim Head Coach Rodney Terry finished 26-8 and just blew out #1 seed Kansas by 20 points to win the Big 12 Tournament. He will likely be retained.
So far, only 6 or 7 are better jobs likely to offer significantly higher pay than Bradley.
        Cal (Pac-12)
        Georgetown (Big East)
        Georgia Tech (ACC)
        Notre Dame (ACC)
        St. John's (Big East)
        Texas Tech (Big 12)
and maybe Wichita State or South Florida of the AAC

Lots of high profile jobs available. Coach getting lots of National attention. This will be tell tale. If the Wardle era at Bradley survives this, I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Former LSU head coach Will Wade, who was fired by LSU for recruiting violations that came out of the FBI pay-for-play investigation, was just hired as the new head coach at McNeese State-

There are reports that Northwestern State's (Louisiana) head coach Corey Gipson, will be hired by Austin Peay.
Corey Gipson has only been at Northwestern State for 1 season after spending 7 seasons as an assistant coach at Missouri State. Prior to that, he was an assistant at Aurtin Peay for 3 seasons. He played 2 years at Austin Peay (2002-04). He took over a 9-23 team at Northwestern State and went 22-11 this season. He made the quick improvement by filling his roster with a lot of transfers and a commit from Missouri State. His top 3 scorers were former Missouri State players Demarcus Sharp, Ja'Monta Black, and Isaac Haney. His 4th leading scorer was previous Missouri State commit Jalen Hampton, and there were several others on the roster who he had a connection with as a Missouri State assistant.

Too bad for all those kids who transferred to Northwestern State to play for new coach Corey Gipson, as he leaves them behind after just 1 season.

I wouldn’t be surprised if many of them, if not all, go with him to Austin Peay. It could be similar to what happened to Murray State last year when their coach took the job at LSU and left the school he recruited them to. Most players go to a school because of the coach and not because of the school or its academic courses. With the extra covid year expiring soon, this could be an interesting portal season. If Wardle were to leave Bradley, it will be interesting to see if any players go with him.

I believe the one year waiver is still in place, so they'd have to sit if they went to AP

They changed the rule in 2021 to allow for one transfer with no penalty. They couldn’t hold back the power conferences from poaching the little guys, ya know!
                      Larry Bird
I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Right, I believe we are referring to the three players who followed him from MSU. They used their immediate eligibility transfer going to NwST.

To clarify, the NCAA rule allowing transfers to be eligible immediately is still in force, but it only applies to first-time transfers. Since those 3 players from Missouri State already transferred once, they are no longer eligible for immediate eligibility. If they transferred again to Austin Peay, they would have to sit out a year (unless they can get a waiver).

Mississippi reportedly will hire former Texas head coach Chris Beard-

Beard was fired this past January after he was arrested and charged with a third degree felony assault charge. His fiancé told police that Beard "choked me, bit me, bruises all over my leg, throwing me around, and going nuts," consistent with bite marks on her arm and cuts on her face and leg.
She later recanted her story and asked that Beard not be prosecuted, and charges were dropped. -

Georgia tech hires Boston Celtics assistant coach Damon Stoudamire-
The Yellow Jackets have named Celtics assistant Damon Stoudamire the program's new coach. A former NBA player and college head coach, Stoudamire has been in Boston for the past two seasons.
