  • November 19 game to honor 2005-06 NCAA Sweet 16 team- Jim Les and players to attend

Saturday, November 19 is a double-header at Carver Arena with the women's team playing McNeese State at 12:00 noon, followed by the men's team playing SEMO at 3:00 pm. But there will also be an induction ceremony at halftime of the men's game for two members of the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame, Class of 2022, the 2005-06 Men's Basketball NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 team and Women's Golfer Bari Erais.

    Note that-
Erais will be joined by former Bradley Men's Basketball head coach Jim Les and his full team of 2005-06 student-athletes, coaches and support staff on the Carver Arena court for the halftime Hall of Fame ceremonies.

Coach Les' UC Davis team plays a non-conference game at Arkansas State on Friday night, November 18. I assume his team will head home after that game, while Coach Les, and Coach Kyle Vogt, who is currently an assistant coach on Jim's UC Davis staff, will head to Peoria to join the other coaches, players and staff from that 2005-06 team. This should be a great event, and is overdue.

Following the games, there will be a Hall of Fame Banquet in the Civic Center's 4th floor ballroom-

The actual HOF election couldn't have happened until 2021, as a team can't be nominated until 15 years after the season for which they are being recognized. They were elected in to the Class of 2022 in the fall of 2021, and I'm sure the logistics of getting as many people here as possible from that team was given consideration. My point is, this is really the earliest that the election could have occurred.

She had nothing to do with the 2006 team, but had a whole lot to do with the demise that started a couple years later

The demise of Jim Les and the Athletic Director and the basketball program until the board wised up

Anyone know what she's up to nowadays?

Seemingly disappeared into retirement. There is really no digital footprint to be found.

It’s best not to think about her or mention her name. Let’s move on and hopefully look forward to this season.
