They are members of the Big South Conference, and after several poor seasons under Tubby Smith, and then under his son G.G. Smith, High Point just hired Creighton assistant Alan Huss. Huss was the head coach at La Lumiere Prep school a decade ago when Mike Nesbitt played there his senior year of high school.
    Congratulations Mike!
I wouldn't be surprised to see Huss and Nesbitt build HPU into a conference champ and NCAA Tournament team within 3 years. That school has a ton of money to throw at the MBB program and understands the implications of student enrollment as it relates to the exposure of being in the NCAA Tournament.

      Congratulations Mike!
New High Point head coach Alan Huss also coached at Decatur Christian and coached AAU, was head coach at Culver
when they came and played at the Washington HS Tournament of Champions (a couple of his kid played in the MVC),
and was an assistant coach on the staff at New Mexico in 2014 at the same time that Bradley's Drew Adams was also an assistant there. Link

he was also an active poster and participant in discussions here on BradleyFan's, but he has not posted to my knowledge in a few years now.
