Major court ruling today bars the NCAA from enforcing any rules restricting NIL money- https://theathletic.com/5295907/2024...it-injunction/
This is a "temporary injunction", but is still a gift to the big schools who can now use unlimited NIL money for recruiting purposes, which the NCAA had restricted.
If it stands, it essentially makes pay-for-play completely legal now.
Even the NCAA limit of 13 scholarships would become almost meaningless, since many of the big schools can raise enough NIL money to recruit kids and pay for their "scholarships" with NIL money.
