  • MVC Final Net Rankings

As with the NCAA Transfer Portal, it seems that the NET Rankings (NCAA Evaluation Tool) is here to stay, like it or not. Here are the final rankings for Valley teams including newcomers:

    #28 Loyola
    #29 Murray St
    #72 Mo St
    #79 Belmont
    #85 Drake
    #98 UNI
    #102 BU
    #137 SIU
    #200 ISU
    #207 Valpo
    #238 InSU
    #283 UIC
    #327 Evansville

The MVC finished as the 11th best D1 conference according to KenPom with a total of 11 Quad 1 wins (excluding incoming teams for next year).
Random note on BU: After the Virgin Islands debacle the Braves were mired deep in the 200s, Net-wise, looking up at teams from the NEC/SWAC/MEAC, etc. So, a final rating of 102 may not be sexy but their rise was impressive.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the highest Wardle has gotten Bradley during his tenure here. Even higher than the 2 years we won Arch Madness(not like the 2019 championship team had good rating by any means).

The NCAA started using the NET for the 2018-19 season, so it's only been used for 4 years.
Here are Bradley's final NET rankings-
      Season...NET
      2021-22--102
      2020-21--173
      2019-20--102
      2018-19--176

So the 102 NET ranking this year was tied with 2019-20 for the best rank.
