Lot of key players will be gone from last season from Drake, Mo St.

Northern Iowa should be good, but I think we're just as good as them.
Still TBD, but I expect Belmont to finish middle pack most seasons.
I don't know about Murray State being the favorite. They basically lost all the players they had this past year. I think even tho we lost Terry, almost every team basically lost one of their best 2 players. It will be tough to predict the league with everything changing but yeah I'd take top 3

Where did you hear they are losing all their players? Murray has their top 5 scorers returning, unless they entered the transfer portal.
I think they only had 2 seniors who didn't score much, and 4 starters will return.
I'm sure their recruiting will be helped by their tourney win also.

They SHOULD be the outright faves in my mind. Young and deep team.

Little Brave, you must have missed this
Murray State's head coach left to take the LSU job, and every one of Murray State's 11 returning players for next year have entered the transfer portal.

Nicholas McMullen- a 6'8" 2nd year forward who played in all 34 games off the bench, and averaged 3.2 ppg and 2.9 rpg.

That makes 11 players in the portal, plus another player (Tevin Brown) who declared for the NBA Draft and announced plans to sign with an agent. Plus, their top 2022 recruit decommitted and their 2 graduate players are leaving after exhausting all their eligibility. Good luck in the MVC next year.

My bad - DaCoach just filled me in about most of the team entering the transfer portal.
That's a dang shame. They could have been special if they stayed.

I agree. I'm worried that now they'll just become a perennial bottom feeder.
