I don't know about Murray State being the favorite. They basically lost all the players they had this past year. I think even tho we lost Terry, almost every team basically lost one of their best 2 players. It will be tough to predict the league with everything changing but yeah I'd take top 3
I think they only had 2 seniors who didn't score much, and 4 starters will return.
I'm sure their recruiting will be helped by their tourney win also.
They SHOULD be the outright faves in my mind. Young and deep team.

Murray State's head coach left to take the LSU job, and every one of Murray State's 11 returning players for next year have entered the transfer portal.
Originally posted by Da Coach on 4/1/22 View PostThe last remaining scholarship player from this past season at Murray State enters the portal-
Nicholas McMullen- a 6'8" 2nd year forward who played in all 34 games off the bench, and averaged 3.2 ppg and 2.9 rpg.
That makes 11 players in the portal, plus another player (Tevin Brown) who declared for the NBA Draft and announced plans to sign with an agent. Plus, their top 2022 recruit decommitted and their 2 graduate players are leaving after exhausting all their eligibility. Good luck in the MVC next year.

Damiree "DJ" Burns- sophomore- withdrew and will return to Murray State

Elijah Farr- junior
Trae Hannibal- sophomore- transferred to LSU

That's a dang shame. They could have been special if they stayed.
