If I remember right Kent replaced Henry when he got hurt. Maybe Kent saw his playing time being cut because Henry is coming back plus the rise in playing time for Zek

This transfer hurts! Was also hoping Kent's sister would consider BU she might be the top player in the state next year.

Once JaShon decided to come back I'm sure Jason went to Brian and asked what his role was going to be next year and he just didn't like the answer that Brian had for him. Good luck Jason wherever you end up. Don't blame a guy who wants to play. Hopefully he can find a place where he can.

I always feel a sense of loss when a player transfers. I just hope it all works out well for the young man. Good luck Jayson.

This one hurts I think. I hope this doesn’t mean the plan is to use Jashon as the primary three. Jayson seemed like a great young man. Also, he was essentially a freshman since he could still play for BU three more seasons with the extra season.

Offensively he was good at cutting, if he can learn to finish stronger and make threes he could be good. Defensively he will definitely be missed and I think he was underrated in on ball defense. Rare to find a 6’7” guy would can guard the perimeter in the Valley. His length seemed to both some opposing guards.

I hope this for sure means a starting caliber three is on the way, good luck Jayson! Thanks for representing Bradley well!

For the record, I am not comparing the reason for Jayson Kent leaving with last year's transfers. But if our coaches recruit as well as they did last year, we'll be ok.
We did have a lot of turnover last season and were extremely fortunate to land the class that we did. My point is, if we continue to lose underclassmen at this rate, that lack of continuity and inexperience that kept us from winning close Valley games and having a rough non-con schedule will be a continuous trend. We can rally losing Kent, even though he was a rising talent. We can’t afford to lose the Seniors, him, and 3 more guys. Continuity and experience should be our strength next year. Not another year of it as an excuse.

This is disheartening, I still think he will be pretty good before he is done.

Kent leaving sucks. I always felt more confident in his jumper than the results bared out. Hell of an athlete and competitive, versatile defender although he did have a propensity for fouls. Always played hard, I would have had him penciled in to start next year so I’m kind of surprised he wants to go somewhere with a more guaranteed role. Makes me suspect coach has a different opinion than me. Good luck to him.
I've heard Ethan is not interested in Bradley.

Sorry to see Kent go. Great body, shooting form, and skill set. Had some big games for us, most memorably at Mizzou. He hadn’t reached scoring consistency yet, but I think he will lock it in and be really good somewhere… wish it was here.

I hate to lose Kent. Be interesting to see where he goes, and if the grass is greener. I'll bet not, unless he goes to a lesser school and league. Maybe he wants to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond.

I’m disappointed as I was a Kent fan, but my money is on Wardle replacing him with someone even better.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Sometimes I wonder if Kent's quick change in muscle adding more lbs hurt his 3pt shot?
I think we will overcome but Ville has to step it up to the 3pt sharp shooter everyone thought he would be. Ville alone can offset this next season by himself.
