Final score- Ohio State 54 Loyola 41

Loyola played terribly. They shot 26.8% overall and 28.6% from three, and they were 3-10 (30%) on free throws. They were outrebounded 41-31, and had 14 turnovers. The only thing that kept the game from being an even more lopsided blowout was that Ohio State was just 1-15 from three and had 17 turnovers. (credit LU defense)
Loyola did not do anything to boost their national reputation, and were a bit embarrassing for the national audience to see the "best of the MVC".

Let’s kick them out of the valley! LOL

It would seem Loyola emptied their tank at Arch Madness. I can't help but think BU would have been more competitive, but then, I may be a little biased.

For sure DaCoach. When your best player is 1 for 10 from the floor and 1 for 6 at the line your not going to win most games unless someone else steps up which no one did. What an embarrassment for the Valley today. Go Murray State!

Loyola couldn't buy a basket. They missed a ton of bunnies in the paint. Watching that game was conflicting. I want the Valley to do well. But since they're quitting the Valley I don't care if Loyola ever wins another game. But I'm not a Big Ten fan either, so I wasn't rooting for THE Ohio State.

77, you just wrote down my thoughts on this game exactly.

What a dud of a game for Loyola, just terrible all around.

Illinois looked terrible too in their game, just barely squeaked by with a win.

Besides that, what a great March Madness so far though. I loved seeing Kentucky lose to a 15 seed.

This Michigan State game feels just like when we played them in the tournament. BU (Davidson) ahead most of the game, then the last five minutes they just flip a switch and take control ...

We wont hear much about Loyola again. They will go into that other conference and fade into obscurity much like Wichita State and Tulsa

Maybe, but looking at the conference they've moved to, they aren't any better than the MVC. Had to be some monetary reasons for them to go, but I sure hope they flop. Sick of teams leaving the Valley.

Wow! What a game! Baylor down by 25 and came all the way back to tie and send the game to overtime. Just seemed to run out of gas in OT though.

And plus they lose most of their starters

Bad time for Loyola to play their worst game of the year especially Williamson. Think UNI’s big 3 would have fared better. Now as for the school don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.
