If he chooses Arizona State, they would have an all-ISU backcourt with D.J. Horne and Reeves.
But the obvious connection that all those schools have is a lot of wealthy boosters, and lucrative NIL deals.

If they're going to allow this insanity, they should just open it up all the way and allow these kids to sign contracts for whatever amount they can get. At least make them pay dearly for all the poaching.Larry Bird
I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

The leading scorer and rebounder for Murray State, K.J. Williams, and extremely talented big man who averaged 18.0 ppg and 8.4 rpg, becomes the 3rd starter to enter the transfer portal. He will be coveted by every top school with an open scholarship.
Murray State now has 6 players in the portal, including 3 players who started all 34 games for them-
K.J. Williams- 18 ppg, 8.4 rpg- Junior who started all 34 games, averaged 29 mpg - he was the OVC Player of the Year
Jackson Sivills- 1.7 ppg, 0.6 rpg- Freshman who played in only 15 games, averaged 4 mpg
Damiree Burns- 5.8ppg, 6.3 rpg- Sophomore who started all 34 games, averaged 26 mpg
Dionte Bostic- 1.9ppg, 0.5rpg- Freshman who played in only 16 games, averaged 5 mpg
Justice Hill- 13.4 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 5.1 apg- Sophomore who started all 34 games, averaged 31 mpg - 1st team All-OVC
Elijah Farr- Juco transfer who signed with Murray State last spring, but never played this year. He left the team an entered the transfer portal on January 4, 2022. Averaged 16.3 ppg and 6.8 rpg last season at Olney Central CC.
MSU Team Stats- https://goracers.com/news/2021/4/14/...asketball.aspx
These 7 players accounted for around 2/3 of their scoring and rebounding from this past season. And with their two 5th-year seniors also leaving (Carter Collins and Jordan Skipper-Brown), they will lose 6 of their top 7 scorers and around 3/4 of their scoring and rebounding. New head coach Steve Prohm will need a major rebuild.

It's hard to keep up with all the players transferring away from Murray State. What is going on?
In addition to the 7 players previously listed, 2 more Murray State players just entered the transfer portal-- 3/29/2022 - 2018 SG DaQuan Smith (6-1, 185, 2★) will be transferring- redshirt soph who averaged 3.5 ppg, & 1.2 rpg
- 3/29/2022 - 2019 SF Matt Smith (6-6, 225, 2★) will be transferring- redshirt sophomore who did not play this season

Adam MIller played his freshman season at Illinois, then transferred to LSU, where he tore his ACL and missed this entire season. But his coach (Will Wade) was just fired, and the LSU program is awaiting a decision from the NCAA regarding serious violations. So Adam Miller is on the move and he just entered the transfer portal again-

Bradley offered him way back in December of 2016 when he was still playing at Peoria Manual HS-

Btw, Adam Miller might not be able to take advantage of the immediate eligibility rule with this current transfer. The NCAA instituted the rule last year, and it is still in effect. But it can only be used one time. Miller transferred from Illinois to LSU and intended to use the immediate eligibility at LSU last year, but because of his injury, he never played.
This will probably require a ruling by the NCAA to know if the immediate eligibility can be applied again with this year's transfer.

Murray State transfer Justice Hill only stayed in the transfer portal one day. He just committed to LSU and their new head coach Matt McMahon, who until a week ago was Murray State's head coach.
