He already had hired Walter Offutt, (previously an assistant at Toledo) and Andrew Dakich (previously a DBO at Elon).

Illinois State men's basketball head coach Ryan Pedon has finalized his first coaching staff at Illinois State with the addition of former Redbird assistant coach, Northern Illinois head coach, and IBCA Hall of Fame member Rob Judson.
Rob spent last season on the staff at DePaul as a Special Assistant to the Head Coach (2021-2022). Prior to that, he spent 4 years at Marquette (2017-2021), 4 years at Indiana (2013-2017), 6 years at Illinois State (2007-2013), 6 years at Northern Illinois (2001-2007- his only head coaching job), 5 years at Illinois (1996-2001), 5 years at Bradley under Jim Molinari (1991-1996), and 2 years as an assistant at NIU (1989-1991).
