Larry Brown went from 1974-2016 as the head coach of power conference schools or nba teams and now is an assistant at Memphis. When you have earned as much as these guys sometimes you take a “lesser” job if it offers something you aren’t getting elsewhere, like working with a former player you had a good relationship with. I highly doubt Crean would come, more thinking if Wardle would give him a call. There’s not even any indications any of the assistants will move on.

I would imagine Evansville would have to be looking into getting rid of Litckliter and breath some fresh air into their program.Comment

Alabama State head coach Mo Williams resigns. He was 12-24 in 2 seasons there.
He is expected to be named the new head coach at Jackson State, where head coach Wayne Brent retired.Comment

Lots of rumors out there that MVC coaches are candidates for jobs with the coaches from Drake, Mo State and Murray State on many lists. Hope they all stay and we have a strong 2022-3 conference. Also really surprised that the Portal only has 3 MVC players on it-a freshman guard from Evansville and I am not sure he ever played, Hervey from Mo State and he left a month or two ago, and Key from ISUblue It’s still early but kind of surprising (not bad or god just surprising).houstonbraveComment
