Coach Wardle answered questions about Bradley's matchup with Loyola in the MVC Tournament. He commented that Loyola is very good, a smart team, and an "old team". The second question was about Bradley having a lot of new players who haven't experienced Arch Madness. And, the third question was about how important defense will be in the tournament, as Bradley is one of the best defensive teams.
IMO, 5th year grad-transfers (Coupet is actually in his 6th year because he had a redshirt year, plus 4 seasons of play) should be exempt from the Newcomer of the Week award. Yes, they are technically newcomers to the league, but it does not seem appropriate to lump them together with players in their first year of D1. And I do realize that Mikey Howell was also one of the NOW winners (Feb. 14).
