Well that's how senior night is supposed to go. Good night for the Braves. Did anyone notice Connor Linke.....don't remember seeing him on bench or in game?

Very enjoyable game to watch. The crowd showed their appreciation for the seniors before the game and at the end when they were taken out of the game. And nice to see Riley Burger get a basket.
Rienk Mast with another double-double- 22 points and 11 rebounds
Connor Hickman with a terrific game- 14 points on 5-6 shooting, and 4-5 from three. He is becoming deadly from the corner
Ari Boya had 13 points, one shy of his career high, and 5 rebounds
Terry Roberts with just 4 pints, but 7 assists and 6 rebounds
Only 8 turnovers for the game, and just 3 in the 2nd half
Rebounds- BU 38 (13 offensive) - VU 27
It’s amazing when we limit the turnovers our offense is pretty good. Our defense also improves because teams have less run outs. Control the turnovers and we have a shot. Our half court defense is tremendous.
Hard to believe we might only have one game left already, this season flew by!
Everything we could have asked for as fans happened tonight. Very classy of Matt Lottich to allow Henry in the game there at the end. That was a great moment along with Burger’s basket. Great game Ari! Hickman is close to becoming that shooter I want so bad at least from the corner, but he has a nice all around game too. Glad to see he has officially broken out of the freshman wall. Mast was great tonight too. Good to see Kent back. Nice to see Ekono hit a shot. Roberts played under control tonight and seemed to have more bounce than the last few games, maybe he is getting better from his injury.
A really business like victory. After the first five minutes we were never threatened. It's looking like Conner has got his second wind as his shot has looked a lot better in the last few games. Glad that Kent was able to get a game in before Arch Madness. Hopefully he got the rust taken off his shot. Terry is still struggling with his shot but he didn't try to force anything, 0 turnovers, and continues to contribute in other areas as he had 6 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals and 1 block. Mikey continued his fine February as he had 6 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Ari also continues his stellar February as he also had 5 blocks to go with his 13 points and MADE 3-4 from the FT line. And a great moment at the end of the game when JaShon got subbed in so he could get his senior moment and a great sense of the moment by the Valpo coach to help it happen. You could tell how emotional that moment was for JaShon and Brian. Will that be his last time in a BU uniform? We'll see along with Ari. Finish the regular season at 17-13 and certainly should have won over 20 but come Friday at 2:35 we start over and we face a Loyola team that's still pretty good but are the most vulnerable they've been since before Cameron Krutwig got there. If we play hard and smart on both ends we should win. If we let the Ramblers aggressive nature affect us we'll be in for a rough one. Looking forward to being in St Louis for Arch Madness!

Many thanks to the Valpo coach for making it possible for Ja'Shon to receive the well deserved recognition from his team mates and fans! It's a memory Ja'Shon will never forget! Hopefully Ja'Shon will fully recover, decide to return for another season and experience another Senior night!
Do you have final numbers for home attendance for the season?
It has been tight race between SIU and our Braves. Very proud of the turnouts all season amidst Covid and some adverse weather.

Here are the final attendance numbers- again for the 4th year out of the last 5, Bradley is the attendance leader among Valley schools.
The 2020-21 Covid year was the one year Bradley did not lead, because some states allowed attendance, while Illinois did not. Stats link- http://www.mvc.org/mbb/stats/confstat.htm
