Jason Kent is not dressed and is out for today's game. He has a right wrist injury, and it's wrapped.

FREE THROWS! Throw out Boya's four misses and the team goes 26/30, 87%, including 12/12 by Leons. When ISU put us in the bonus with 13 minutes to go in the game, I knew those would be huge.

Rough start to the game but a needed win ...

ISU Red plays really physical in much the same way that Missouri State does. In the first half, we weren't forcing it inside and we paid the price because the refs weren't calling anything, but in the 2nd half we started going inside a lot and it paid off with a lot of whistles.

This is the blueprint they need for the Missouri State game. If they start out extremely physical (which I suspect they will), we need to force it inside and try to get the whistles, then like BUB2006 stated, just hit those free throws baby!

Great win in a game where we didn't play our best ball. 3's really wouldn't fall today, but we still managed to pull it out and that is the sign of a good team.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Bradley had 9 turnovers in the first half, which contributed to their trouble scoring. Then only 1 in the 2nd half, which was a big reason for the turnaround.

Nice to see the Braves rebound from their last game and from the first 17:00 of this game. We went over 6:00 early in the first half without scoring and were fortunate to only be down 6 with 10:00 to go. ISU made 5 straight shots in the next 5:00 to get their biggest lead of 11. We looked dazed and confused on both ends. But we started to finally match ISU's aggressiveness and outscored them 16-6 to end the half down by just 1. It took about 10:00 but we started to pull away and it never got closer than 5. A much needed win to try and move up in the standings which has been made really interesting with Drake's win, a game they never trailed in, at Loyola. 5 teams within 2 games, because either UNI or MSU will be 12-4 after tomorrow, of 1st. Need to root for UNI to beat MSU for us to have a chance of moving up to 3rd. That's also assuming that we win out and Drake loses 1 of their last 3. We know who will be in the play in game: ISU Red and Blue, Valpo and Evansville. SIU will probably be the 6th seed. Everything else is still up for grabs.

Jimmy, I love your breakdowns brother! Always great reading!

2 games left, shouldn't be hard to win out and move up. Either way, I like our chances this year if we show up with our defense.
