The one MVC game tonight, Tuesday, Feb. 8, featured 10th place Evansville playing at 9th place Indiana State.

Evansville played very well coming off the 35-point loss to Bradley on Saturday. They shot 50% (24-48 ) overall, and 40% from three (6-15).
Evansville was playing without their 2nd leading scorer, Jawaun Newton, who missed the game with a knee injury that he injured late in the game at Bradley.
Indiana State was 22-30 on 2-pointers, but was 0-17 from three. Yikes.
It broke Indiana State's 420 game streak with at least one three pointer. The last time that happened with in 2008.
It was Evansville's first win at Indiana State since 2011. They had lost 11 straight at the Hulman Center, and 9 straight overall to Indiana State.
