This year's Loyola team differs from past teams in that they rely more on perimeter scoring, and less on inside scoring. They rank #1 in the MVC with a 3-point percentage of 38.4%. They are 2nd in the MVC in number of made 3-point field goals per game with 9 per game. Unlike Cameron Krutwig, Loyola's starting center this season, sophomore Jacob Hutson, is averaging just 13 minutes per game in MVC games, and 3.4 ppg.
Bradley is the top rebounding team in the MVC with a rebounding margin of +8.9 rebounds per game, while Loyola has been outrebounded in conference games (-0.1 rpg).
Loyola is #1 in the MVC in scoring margin (+7.6 ppg) and Bradley is 2nd (6.9 ppg).
One other interesting comparison-
After shooting poorly from the 3-point line in the non-conference games (33.9%), Bradley now ranks 4th in MVC games with a 35.5% three point percentage (99-279).
