1 MVC game Sunday, Feb. 6
Loyola at Missouri State- 1 pm on ESPN2
    https://www.espn.com/mens-college-ba.../date/20220206

Missouri State is a 1 point favorite

If Missouri State beats Loyola, the top 5 teams in the MVC would look like this-
    UNI 9-3
    MSU 9-3
    DU 8-3
    LU 8-3
    BU 7-5

I don’t like Loyola much, but if we want a shot at two bids this year I think they need to win out until Sunday in St Louis to be safe.

Here are the MVC teams' NET rankings-
      https://www.warrennolan.com/basketba...issouri-Valley

Is it better for the MVC for Loyola to win out, or for Missouri State to win out? If Missouri State beats Loyola, MSU's NET rank, currently #62, would probably jump into the 40's. That could possibly get both of them into a position for an NCAA Tournament at-large bid.

Note that Bradley's NET rank is now 101. Their remaining games include games against top 100 NET teams Loyola, Drake, and Missouri State.
It's a longshot, but if Bradley can win a couple of those and take care of business against Valpo, ISU, and SIU, their NET could get into the range for a possible NIT bid.

Looking back, these 3 losses really sting now-
      > the overtime loss at Loyola in which Bradley blew a 16-point lead
      > the 2-point home loss to Missouri State in which Isiaih Mosley hit the desperation 3-pointer at the buzzer
      > and that awful loss at ISU when Bradley blew a 20-point second half lead.
If Bradley had won just 2 of those, they'd be tied for 1st place, and if they'd won all 3, they'd be 10-2 and headed for their first MVC regular season championship since 1996.

I look back and see 3 games they should have won. Missouri State, Illinois State and Indiana State. I think where Bradley would be if they had won those.
