This is an outstanding game in Des Moines. UNI up 41-39 with 15 minutes to go.

This is an outstanding game in Des Moines. UNI up 41-39 with 15 minutes to go.

UNI and Drake stayed close the entire game, and the game went to overtime. Then UNI pulled out to a lead, and Drake stayed cold, allowing UNI to take the lead and win 74-69.

From the end of regulation through the 5 minutes of overtime, Drake missed 10 straight shots. UNI was not much better, but thanks to a couple made shots and some free throws, UNI won by 5.
UNI was 24-26 from the free throw line. Both teams shot poorly- UNI 37.1%, and Drake 37.7%. UNI was 4-23 from three (17.4%), and Drake was 5-26 from three (19.2%).
