I hope we are being careful, respectful of the opponent and walking in with our heads on straight.

Heading toward D3ing these guys again.
Boya with 14 boards and a double double.
Kent - 75% from the field
            Ville - 4 for 7 from 3
            Hannah - improved his FT% with 1 of 2.

Hard to take much from this game, but this is what we should do. Great effort guys.

              Bradley shot 50% overall (29-58 ), and 50% from three (12-24)

Nice breakdown Coach! Hard to believe we had more turnovers but I guess when you have a rebounding discrepancy like that, it can cover up for a lot of things!

Here is the play where Terry Roberts was injured with 7:47 left in the game (thanks to the PJ Star's Dave Eminian).
It appears the Evansville player's heel comes down on Terry's left toe causing him to turn his left ankle inward.

Hope Terrys ankle injury isn’t to bad. He’s definitely one player that we cannot afford to lose…

Pretty obvious that Evansville is the worst team in the Valley this year so it was nice to see us treat them as such, again. Last time we beat a Valley team at their place by over 30 was at then North Texas State, now just North Texas, in 1961. Ari had his best game as a Bradley Brave. Mikey Howell had his best game in a while as he had 7 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and just 1 turnover in 25 minutes. And if Terry can't go or is limited it's very important that Mikey is playing well. Montgomery in back to back games in limited minutes is looking better. We had 17 assists on 29 made baskets which is the 17th time we've had more than 50% of our made baskets off an assist which shows good movement on offense which we're going to need against Loyola on Wednesday. Just hope Terry is ok.

Ari Boya was named The Player of the Game-
                          https://twitter.com/bradleyumbb/stat...95470013825028

My choice for Player of the Game would have been Ville Tahvanainen- 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists, and he was 4-7 from three.
He was scoreless at UNI, so it's great to see him bounce back with a really nice game.
Bradley needs Ville to continue to be an outside threat for Bradley to have a chance at winning the MVC Tournament again.
I also thought Ville's defense was very good today, as was the defense played by all of Bradley's players.

Evansville gets most of their points from their guards. On the season, 5 of their top 6 scorers are these guards.
Here are their season averages and their totals today-
                          Player....................Season average.... today
Shamar Givance........ 14.0 ppg.........5 points, 1-7 from the field
Jawaun Newton..........13.8 ppg.........4 points, 2-5 from the field
Noah Frederking...........7.4 ppg........3 points, 1-7 from the field
Blaise Beauchamp........6.3 ppg........6 points, 2-10 from the field
Antoine Smith...............5.2 ppg.........2 points, 0-0 from the field

Combined, these 5 guards average about 47 points per game. But today, Bradley's defense held them to just 20 points on 6-29 shooting.

I thought Hickman played well on both ends. He is gaining great experience as a Freshman and will be a big part of our success for years to come.
Really like Zeke's potential - we are just seeing a glimpse this year.

ARI BOYA!!! Is that his 1st double-double as a Brave?
He is giving us a big boost lately - great to see with JaShon's absence.

Four treys by Ville - sometimes that guy just looks like he can't miss.
If he doesn't have any major injuries, he should be in the Top 5 All-time in made 3's by a Brave in his career.
I agree with DC that Ville is so very important in this final stretch. When he makes 3 three-pointers a game in his BU career, we rarely lose!

Can't underestimate the superb D we played today from start to finish. In some games like today, we resemble the 2010 UNI Panthers, who beat Kansas (the #1 overall seed) to advance to the Sweet 16. They were so so good defensively, much like the early-mid 2000 Salukis (Floorburn U - with the likes of Young, Shaw, Falker, Brooks, Owen, and Tatum)
