  • Final score: Bradley 67 Indiana State 52

Bradley is now 11-10, and 5-4 in the MVC. The next game is at home, Sunday, Jan. 30, at 1:00 pm vs. Indiana State (9-10, 2-5).
That is a very odd time and makes it difficult for some fans who attend church services with activities that last into the afternoon. But obviously, that time was chosen because of the MVC TV Network, which will televise the game on NBCSports Chicago PLUS channel or the Bally Network (formerly FoxSports Midwest).
The game is also streamed on BallySports.com- https://www.ballysports.com/watch/li...ate-at-bradley

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Indiana State basketball struck lightning from behind the arc -- hitting 14 3-pointers -- during a 76-72 victory over Missouri State Tuesday night at the Hulman Center. Three Sycamores scored in double-digits led by Cameron Henry's 16 points while Zach Hobbs added 15 and forward Nick Hittle put up a career-high 14 points in 15 minutes of action.

Bradley lost a tough game 76-71 at Indiana State back on January 2. Indiana State was without 3 of their regular players in that game.
Terre Haute, Ind. – The Bradley men's basketball team fell at Indiana State on Sunday afternoon, 76-71. The Braves are now 7-7 on the season with a 1-1 Missouri Valley record, while the Sycamores improve to 8-6 overall and 1-1 in league play.

Indiana State is coached by 1st year head coach Josh Schertz, who was at Division II Lincoln Memorial University for 13 seasons and was very successful, going https://s3.amazonaws.com/sidearm.sit...tats.pdf272-50 over the last 10 seasons.

Preseason All-MVC player Tyreke Key is out for the season because of a right shoulder injury and surgery.
Leading scorer Cameron Henry (15.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg), 4th leading scorer Xavier Bledson (11.2 ppg, 4.1 rpg), and 7-foot center Simon Wilbar (4.9 ppg, 3.5 rpg) are transfers from Schertz's Lincoln Memorial U. team. 3rd leading scorer Micah Thomas (11.3 ppg), is junior college transfer from Northwest Florida State College. One other recent starter, Zach Hobbs, who transferred from Des Moines Area Community College is averaging 6.3 ppg, and shooting 41.3% from three. Hobbs scored 14 points against Bradley in the game on January 2. Henry, Bledson, and Wilbar did not play in that game due to Covid issues.
2nd leading scorer Cooper Neese (14.9 ppg) has not played in their last 2 games due to a neck injury. There is no report if he will be able to play Sunday.

Yes - in maybe the most anticipated weekend of NFL this season (and in a few seasons for that matter), may be tough to get a good crowd on Sunday.
Our Braves are playing very well. Let's get to 6-4 and keep this train rolling strong at Carver!

They have this new technology these days called DVR.

Just kidding.... if the Bears were playing in the conference final, I'd be torn between a Bradley regular season game and the NFL playoffs.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

I kinda agree DaCoach but cmon! Our home team is going for 4 in a row! Like you said. That’s what DVR is for. By the way. I’m a huge Bears fan also.

I dont have a football team if Bradley basketball is playing. What should be said is… “I’d love to watch the football game but Bradley is playing at home at 1pm”… but hey whatever….

It's Indiana State! We should not have lost down there. It's payback time

I think for most of us, BU > Bears, but if Bears were playing in conf. title, I'd definitely want to see them instead of BU in a regular season game unless it were for the Valley title (or vs the Redbirds at home). It is just so rare to see the Bears get that far.

With that said, I still can watch our Braves on ESPN replay nearly every game!

No worries there as long as the McCaskey's are running the show with Ted Phillips involved!

The Bradley men's basketball team looks to extend its three-game winning streak when it welcomes Indiana State to Carver Arena. Game time is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

So we lost at Indiana State despite them missing three of their top players. Carver will be empty unfortunately so little home court advantage for us. Not a recipe for a win so let's just beat them anyways. Don't understand why we didn't play more backups against Valpo despite having a comfortable lead most of the game.
