  • The Unstoppable Combo!

I can't recall the last time we've had a 5-game stretch where 2 players have played so well as TR and RM.
They just play so well together now and have proven to be VERY tough to guard!

Check this out! Last 5 game avg:
    Terry R: 18 pts, 7 assists, 5.8 rebs
    Reink M: 18.8 pts, 9.2 rebs

It's unlikely we get 2 guys in the Valley 1st team (unless we finish in Top 2), but it's hard NOT to consider either for 1st team right now.
Mast has become a star in the league (after a shaky start to the season) in just his 2nd yr, and TR has been one of the most impactful newcomers to the program in quite some time.

Let's keep it up boys! Also nice to know we've got a few other newbies (Hickman, Leons) as well as vets (Boya, Ville) who are contributing night after night in case one of these 2 has an off-night.

I agree with this and I want to add to it. I think Bradley is becoming a very hard team to defend as there are 7 guys that can score very well. They dont have one guy that the other team can zero in on they have 7 guys that can score at any given time. This team is very well balanced

      Agreed BF124.
When we substitute guys, I don't have that feeling like - oh shoot, I can't wait for X or Y to come back in. This is when other team can make a run.
I'm still a little leary of Kent. He makes quite a few mistakes and his ball-handling needs to improve. I do like that he's made an impact and improved from last year to this one.

I love when Hickman and Leons are on the court at the same time. These guys have great basketball IQs and give us a solid effort defensively.
I love Hickman's game for a freshman and he's going to be a great one! Lot of similarities to Sammy the Man!

I think Hickman is going to be much better than Maniscalco was for us. To see what he's done on both ends of the floor as a freshman is really encouraging for the future.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Agree totally. Hickman has such a high basketball IQ already. I think he will be something pretty special by the time he is done playing…

Yes indeed - he struggled last game mightily on offense, but he's gonna give you 100% effort on the other end!
What a great get by the Braves staff!

I just hope that the Braves keep that "chip" on their shoulders through the rest of the season and the MVC Tournament and do not get "TO COCKY".
