The new AP Top 25 is out this morning, and Loyola (14-3), which moved into the Top 25 last week for the first time at #22 has dropped out this week after losing at home to Missouri State. They did get some votes, good for 31st place.

Murray State (17-2), which will be in the MVC next year, also finished among "Others receiving votes", ranking 34th.
Belmont (14-5) was among "others receiving votes" in the USA Today Coaches Poll two weeks ago, but now after losing 2 of their last 3, they are no longer receiving votes.

What 2 great pickups for the league…

Yes, I think the MVC Presidents and ADs got it right with those 2 additions.
And although UIC is not very good right now, I like the idea of adding another Chicago school. It will give Bradley fans in Peoria as well as Chicago (and there are lots of BU grads in the Chicago area) another Chicago school to make a trip to to watch a road game.
