I think BW was listening to you, LB. Ari and Hannah both with playing time today.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

That unnecessary foul on a 3 by Hannah might be an example of why he hasn't been playing much...

Side note: It feels like's been awhile since we've gotten the Higgins show. That guy really likes to make himself visible, doesn't he?

Thank you for proving me wrong, boys! This team is an enigma, as tonight they showed heart, made their free throws, played solid defense, killed Drake on the boards, and just redeemed themselves. I needed this!

BUBrave2006, nice call! You called the bounce back win! Well done!

Good win....biggest difference tonight....no 5 minute stretch going scoreless. Bradley had an answer for every run by Drake.

Also Kudos to the Drake announcers who had knowledge of the players and were not complete Homer's. Found them enjoyable to listen to.

Thanks! I had a good feeling about this one. I still believe in this team. It's never a straight line, but there's a lot of season left.

What a great attitude! I need to keep that in mind in the future!

Bradley puts together 2 great halves for a change to beat Drake in Des Moines 83-71
                Stats- https://godrakebulldogs.com/sidearmstats/mbball/media

Connor Hickman with his best game as a Brave- 15 points, only 1 turnover
Ville Tahvanainen with a good game- 11 points and a couple big 3-pointers in the 2nd half to blunt any Drake comeback
Rienk Mast with 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 8-9 from the floor.
Malevy Leons with 5 points and 6 rebounds, but great defense in a game-high 32 minutes.
Terry Roberts with another superb game- A game-high 18 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and only 1 turnover.
Ari Boya with 14 very good minutes off the bench, 8 points, and 3 rebounds.
Mikey Howell with 5 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals.

Bradley shoots 59.6% (31-52) for the game, 36.8% from three (7-19), and 14-16 on FTs (87.5%)- one the best shooting nights on the road in an MVC game, especially against the team picked #1 in the preseason poll, that I can recall.

Next game- Saturday, 7 pm vs. SIU.

Great win. Roberts and Mast are looking excellent, they are all conference players. Nice to see Boya getting some good minutes and playing well, we need his size at times. Nice job by Ville and Hickman too, they played hard.

If we play like this I don't think anyone in the Valley can beat us. We have seen the potential this year, it is nice to finally beat a decent team on the road.

Mike - agree about the announcers. Really good and not the usual homers we have to listen to.

About your comment about Ville and Hickman defense though, they both played pretty well tonight. Hickman especially played some great D for a freshman against Penn all night. Not an easy task! Great effort all around tonight!

I felt this as well during the game, too. Glad others noticed it, too. They did a very good job.

Biggest win of the year! After blowing the leads we had against Loyola and the Redbirds to go on the road at Drake and win by double digits is HUGH. A full 40 minute effort on both ends shows the kind of talent I've said we have on this team. The question has been can they put together a sustained effort for an entire ball game. Tonight there was no let up or relaxing for the most part. 31-52 overall, 16-25 in the second half, wherever you play is pretty darn good. Roberts led the Braves with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and just 1 turnover after having 7 against the Redbirds. Mast was 8-9 from the field for 17 points and had 8 rebounds. Hickman had 15 and Ville had 11. Ari had 8 points and 3 rebounds in just 14 minutes, left his feet for a couple of alley oop Kabooms and played pretty good defense. But again can we see this kind of consistent effort the rest of the season? I sure hope so.

Wow! This team just baffles me. Superb effort by everyone on this team tonight. Let’s keep things rolling on Saturday night and get back to .500!

Great win! This team drives me crazy, though. They can be unbelievably bad 3 days ago and come back and look like a legitimate Arch Madness Sunday team. If they figure this out it will be a fun February.

I still think they need to work on the huddles, talking, and picking each other up that Coach talked about on Sunday. Other than that, tonight’s team is Top 3 in the Valley. Let’s see what Saturday brings.

Seemed like the team is stepping up after realizing that JHen is out of commission, and it’s next-man-up on the leadership front. A lot of positive talk and player leadership today.
