Too many turnovers especially in the second half. Terry with 7!!! And I get jashon is coming off injury but if 1-5 and a turnover is all he can give then maybe he needed another few days of practice first. Ville 0-6 on three's is unacceptable when you consider that's the only reason he's on the court is for shooting purposes. Someone has to step up other than mast and Terry in offense. The blown lead to Loyola is one thing considering they're a top 30 team in the AP poll but ISU? You should be better than them and you had a 16 point lead at the half!! This might be the most disgusting loss this year and there's been some bad ones as you know...

I don't even know what to say as that is one of the most discouraging losses I have ever sat through. Absolutely no heart on this team in that effort.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

Yes as Big Jimmy shared - the Wardle post game radio interview was very brief. 3 of Roberts turnovers were where caused by Mast Roberts “ Give and Go” where Roberts pass to Mast were intercepted - 3 times in a row. I don’t get it. I did learn as Big Jimmy shared - Mast can’t jump - I don’t think Mast can dunk the ball. Mast uses his size for most of his shots. Years ago at times like these Darrell Brown would take upon himself to drive to the rim and he would make a boat load of free throws keeping opponents trying to make a comeback from succeeding. I no longer see this - Our plan is to shoot the 3s - this has got to stop. Someone has to drive it to the hole - and no one is stepping up. Likely because their free throw average isn’t the greatest and they get banged taking it to the hole. And lastly, no defense - none - zip - (ISU outscored Bradley by 23 points in the second half) - I’ll leave this issue with Wardle to resolve. ☹️

I hope Wardle posts this article in the Braves locker room - especially before Bradley plays ISU at home.

You could just hear in his voice how disappointed he was in their second half effort and frankly I’m going to take it a step further and say this second half was the worst played half of basketball since a 9 point effort against UNI in 2007. Not even during the Geno years have I been as disappointed in a half and game as I was in this one. Because this team has shown they have talent. Hell they showed it in the first half. But you have to have more than 2 guys scoring to win. Terry and Rienk combined for 13-25 overall, 7-14 from 3 while the rest of the team shot 11-33 overall, 4-20 from 3. When we get in trouble on offense is when we're not strong and smart with the ball. On defense we get in trouble when we're not fully engaged. Hopefully Wardle told the guys to be ready for practice the next 2 days as every starting spot is open. Maybe that will get their attention.
I see the 20 point lead built up because of their talent and I see the loss due to youth and inexperience. Hopefully they can get it together by tournament time

Almost made the trip to Normal. Glad I didn’t. Unbelievable!
