This is what I think a lot of us have been waiting for, a game where he is aggressive and carries the team. Mast and Roberts have done it, now Leons took his turn. We won that game in large part because of Malevy. Not only his stats, but the hustle/effort plays he made too. I loved the way he played today, he just keeps getting better.

I'll say it again, I wish Leons would shoot more all the time. He is a stud.

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

I think we're starting to see that - especially from the arc. Unfortunately, he's been a bit off from deep, but his confidence is there.
Also, many ways that guy can score.

He may be our X-factor this year. And as always, Ville's 3-balls lift us when we need them, and hurt us when they don't fall.

Yes! I wish we would make more of a concerted effort to get Ville going. He's so streaky that if he can make one, we can usually get a few out of him if we go back to him soon enough. I do know teams keep close defense on him at the 3 point line, but I'd think some planned screens could break him loose. I just get frustrated when we go an entire half without him taking a single 3. In my opinion, that should never happen.

Agreed - to ISU's credit, they did a nice job closing out any open looks from outside the last game. They probably remembered our barrage of 3s vs them in Normal that got us up by double-digits before our meltdown.

Thats what I like about this team. When one player has a bad game somebody else seems to step up. I think this team is so versatile. Connor Hickman has been in a slump last couple games but he is to good of a shooter. I expect him to have bust out game her soon
