Valley Expansion - Murray State in

Not sure what happened for football. I was told that was a real breaker. Maybe they found another league to play in.
UIC is still on the horizon it seems. They could not join for another year antway. Also The Valley is asking for some kind of monetary commitment regarding basketball. No word on what school might come in when UIC is added.

A couple of notes:
A decision on other additions is expected by the end of the month.
The Valley will be going to a 20 game schedule.

The Valley will be ramping up competition and quality next season with Belmont and Murray St.

You hear those teams every year making noise and at the top of their league. The play the power schools pretty tough too.

Right now Belmont (#16) and Murray St. (#17) in good shape in the RPI!

From what I recall seeing home games, these both have pretty solid fan bases for mid major schools with their size.
Will be tough to win on the road - maybe back to when CU and WSU were in the league 10 years ago.

I'd take being a factor in the Valley Regular season! When is the last time we've talked about possibly winning the league at the halfway point?
Maybe 1x since 1996?
