It looks like the "no contest" designation appears to only be if the game cannot be rescheduled.

Conference games that cannot be played will be rescheduled if possible....

In the event an institution does not meet the minimum threshold of player/coach availability and the game cannot be rescheduled, it will be declared a "no contest."

Loyola, Bradley's opponent on Saturday, Jan. 8, has had their last 6 scheduled games cancelled (or postponed) because of Covid issues in their program, and their opponents' programs. They have not played since December 10.
They now have arranged a replacement game scheduled for Thursday against San Francisco, to be played in Salt Lake City.

The game will be played Thursday, Jan. 6, at 2 pm at Salt Lake Community College.
Nice job of last-minute schedule shuffling. San Francisco was scheduled to play Gonzaga on Thursday, but that game was postponed due to Covid as well.

San Francisco is a pretty good team. They are 13-1 and have the best record in the WCC (better than Gonzaga, St. Mary's, and BYU), and they are getting votes in the Top 25-
