The Basketball Tournament announced the Regional sites for their 2022 Tournament-
It looks like they may not be including Peoria this year. There will be 8 Regions, and they named 7 of them, with one more yet to be named. They will have 8 teams at each Regional, with some teams already accepted (see below)-

Omaha, NE (D.J. Sokol Arena on the campus of Creighton University)- Omaha Blue Crew (Creighton Alumni) accepted
Cincinnati, OH (Cintas Center on the campus of Xavier University)- Zip 'Em Up (Xavier alumni) accepted
Wichita, KS (Charles Koch Arena on the campus of Wichita State University)
Dayton, OH (UD Arena on the campus of Dayton University)- Red Scare (Dayton Alumni) accepted
Albuquerque, NM (The Pit on the campus of the University of New Mexico)- The Enchantment (New Mexico alumni) accepted
Syracuse, NY (SRC Arena and Events Center on the campus of Onandaga Community College)- Boeheim's Army (Syracuse alumni) accepted
Charleston, WV (Charleston Coliseum in downtown Charleston, WV)- Best Virginia (West Virginia alumni) and Herd That (Marshall Alumni) accepted
There is one more Region yet to be named, but it probably won't be Peoria.
