Sean East is very talented and I wish him well, but right now I'm kind of liking our point guard(s).

I am in full agreement. I believe Terry Roberts is an upgrade over Sean East, especially in Coach Wardle's system.
The blogger who compiled that list cannot possibly have personally seen all those players he ranked, so he is probably being fooled a bit by just seeing statistics, past performances, and reading others' opinions and overrating Sean. I will bet there are a number of guards on his list (and maybe some who aren't) who end up with better Division I careers after juco.
If you look at Sean's stats, John A. Logan is 7-1, and East leads the team with 21.4 ppg. He is shooting 54% overall, but just 34.5% from three. East appears to be getting a lot of his points with drives into the lane because of his high FG%, but average 3-point percentage. That's because junior colleges don't play much defense, but those kinds of points never come as easy at the D1 level. Thus, guards with Sean's type of play see much of their scoring disappear when they move into a good Division I system. I don't think the coaches wanted Sean to leave, but he did and I wish him well, too. But, I think we have much better guards now for the system Wardle plays.

Ironically if I had to guess two programs that would reach for him, those would be two.
