This is off topic..............but I heard from a soccer fan in town from St. Louis that Creighton soccer lost to SIU-E in their opener. No mention of this on the CU website so it must have been an exhibition. Can anyone confirm this?

This is true....
Somewhat like the closed door basketball scrimmages, this was a "closed door' soccer scrimmage.
Creighton lost 1-0 to SIU-E, a week ago last Friday, 8/24.

Even more shocking, is that Creighton is ranked in the Top 25, and failed to win AGAIN
on Friday night against SDSU, and was fortunate to get away with a 2-2 tie.

Good pickup for Coach Forrester. Jones went to high school at Bethalto Civic Memorial, which is just a few miles from SIUE.
