Hersey Hawkins is one of 6 former All-American players and 2 former coaches who will be inducted into the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame as their Class of 2021 this weekend. In addition to Hawkins, the 16th class includes Maryland's Len Bias, David Greenwood of UCLA, Jim Jackson of Ohio State, North Carolina's Antawn Jamison, Paul Pierce of Kansas and coaches Rick Byrd and Tom Penders.

Hawkins' class is scheduled to be inducted Sunday night as part of the National Collegiate Basketball HOF ceremonies in Kansas City.
The schedule includes the induction ceremony Sunday night that can be watched live here-
And also streamed live on YouTube Sunday night at 7:30 pm-
And it also includes a 4-team tournament on Monday and Tuesday of next week featuring Illinois, Cincinnati, Arkansas, and Kansas State.
Hersey's career scoring total of 3,008 points was the 4th highest in NCAA history when he finished his career at Bradley in 1988. It would have been higher, except the 3-point rule was only in effect for his final 2 seasons. Hersey still ranks 10th in NCAA Division I history, and he still ranks #1 in MVC history-
