Michigan will fall from the rankings after a 34-32 loss to D-IAA Appalachian State

Hello all! It's been awhile since I have posted as we are still in the "dog days" of summer, waiting until our Braves basketball team starts practice. But definately a great day to post today!

Midmajors all around should be rejoicing today after what took place in Ann Arbor today! I never thought I would see this occur, but heck, Michigan played like absolute rubbish today, though a lot of that was attributed to a stubborn ASU defense and a great ASU offense. Basically what I'm saying is that ASU was the better team today and they earned the win. But Michigan helped them out on a few occasions, and that's what makes for an upset, though maybe not as huge an upset as most will make it out to be as ASU knows what it takes to win a national championship.

Having said this however, I must drop this past January's Fiesta Bowl game to number 2 on my all time greatest games list (all the while I'm still waiting for the DVD in the mail)!

They should, but they won't. I predict they'll be rated 18th.

I was at The Dome yesterday. What was "stunning" was Notre Dames lack of a an "O" line.
Add to that a mediocre D line and Charlie Weis's conservative play calling. It looks like Irish fans are in for a long year.
This is good for me, as I will fatten my wallet by, always betting against the Irish, as they are always overvalued.
Next week my Nittany Lions will dine on Irish stew!

Say goodbye to Michigan's season; and possible Lloyd Carr. Michigan is getting smoked at home to Oregon. They are losing by over 30 points...
People need to recognize there is a huge difference between playing hard, and playing well...

wow- with the lack of any other upsets, Michigan is really going to take it on the chin in the national press.

By the way, Appalachian State is HOT....they whupped Lenoir-Rhyne 48-7!!
