With the season closing in, thought I would start the conversation....
Here is how I see it ending. What does everyone else think?

    Drake
    Loyola
    Missouri State
    Northern Iowa
    Bradley
    Southern Illinois
    Indiana State
    Valpo
    Illinois State
    Evansville

    Evansville
    ISU blue
    Valpo
    ISU red

The MVC preseason poll, preseason all-MVC teams, and POY results should be released soon.
I expect the poll to look very similar to BraveBird's predictions.
The top 4 will likely be Drake, Loyola, MSU, and UNI, not necessarily in that exact order (IMO Loyola will be #1, Drake #2, but it will be close).
Bradley and SIU will likely be 5th and 6th. And the bottom 4 will probably be just as Brave Bird listed.

In most seasons, the MVC coaches and ADs met in St. Louis for a conference media day, but with last year's pandemic there was no conference meeting, and the information was announced with a simple press release on Oct. 14, 2020.
If anyone knows whether the MVC will return to a media day in St. Louis, let us know. Either way, the release of the preseason poll and All-MVC teams should happen either next week or the following week.

Why all the love for Loyola? They lost one of the best players that's ever played in the Valley this year and lost their coach? I tend to think they're going to struggle this year, though that may be wishful thinking.

        Here's my picks:

        1. Drake (seems hard to imagine picking anyone else considering how much they're bringing back this year)
        2. Northern Iowa (If Green is healthy and plays all year)
        3. BU (hard to know how we'll do, but I think this is best case scenario. If Ari stays healthy and BW us able to actually practice this year, I think we'll finish strong)
        4. Loyola
        5. Missouri State (I don't have a lot of confidence in Dana Ford, regardless of the talent)
        6. Southern Illinois
        7. Valpo
        8. Indiana State
        9. Evansville
        10. Illinois State
        Larry Bird
I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.

I agree with Tommy. Not sure that Loyola will be a monster again this year. I think Bradley has a very high ceiling. They have a guy in malevey leons that could end up as one of the better players in the valley if not the best. Plus they have other solid transfers, not to mention reink mast who played very well late in the year. At the same time though it could all go to crap like last year. I can only hope...

Of all the teams in the valley I think we are really the wild card. I could see us finishing anywhere from #2 to #6, I am optimistic we will be in the top half but you never know.
