I was surprised to hear him say that he played against Bradley when Bradley took a summer tour to Europe. That was in the summer of 2018, three years ago. The Bradley men played games in London and Amsterdam. In Amsterdam, they played a team called Amsterdam Select (on August 3, 2018 ). Bradley won the game 74-48.
Malevy Leons was a reserve on that Amsterdam Select team. He was only 18 years old at that time.
Here is a screen shot from the video that shows Malevy attempting to guard Luuk van Bree in that game. Luuk was the high scorer and rebounder in the game (15 points, 10 rebounds).

Summary of the game- Bradley 74 Amsterdam Select 48-

It’s interesting to me he described himself as a glue guy who will do everything when it is pretty clear he will be one of the most talented players on the team. I’m sure that mentality appealed to Wardle. Listening to him talk for the first time also helps illustrate how important having a fellow countryman on the roster might be to him. English is clearly his second language so Mast would hopefully help him feel comfortable on campus, and maybe vice versa too. Malevy comes across as a very nice guy, I’m looking forward to him dominating this year on the court
        Gotta stop feeding the trolls.

How many years of eligibility do we believe the young man has left?
          Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.

He used 2 seasons at Mineral Area Community College, so he will have 3 seasons of eligibility left at Bradley (counting the extra year the NCAA granted all players). Let's hope he sticks around for all 3 seasons, since he will be a difference-maker for the Braves.

Thanks DC. Very encouraging to hear your level of confidence in him as I respect your opinion on this.
