5th year senior Gabi Haack has been nominated by the MVC for a national NCAA award - the "2021 Woman of the Year"-
This is another great honor for Gabi. The article linked to above lists many other honors Gabi has achieved.
She will be the top returning scorer in the MVC for the 2021-22 season.
She is now among a list of 154 nominees who represent student-athletes from 18 different sports in every conference representing all three NCAA divisions (Divisions I, II, and III). Of those nominated, 58 nominees competed in Division I, 36 in Division II and 60 in Division III.
The NCAA's Woman of the Year Selection Committee will choose the Top 30 honorees — 10 from each division — from the conference-level nominees and will announce them in September.
The selection committee will then determine the top three honorees in each division from the Top 30, and the nine finalists will be announced later this fall.
From those nine finalists, the NCAA Committee on Women's Athletics then will choose the 2021 NCAA Woman of the Year.
