A couple surprises (Jalen Suggs dropping to #5, Josh Giddey at #6).
As expected, Oklahoma State freshman Cade Cunningham went #1 to the Detroit Pistons.

Man Da Coach, I'd say Josh Giddy going at #6 was a HUGE surprise. They're either going to look like geniuses or go down in history as wasting a top pick. This was a very bold and brave pick.

The Chicago Bulls did not have a 1st round pick. They traded their 2021 and 2023 first round picks along with Wendell Carter Jr. and Otto Porter Jr. for Nikola Vucevic and Al-Farouq Aminu.
In the 2nd round, the Bulls picked Illinois point guard Ayo Dosunmu with the 38th overall pick (8th pick of round 2)
He's a kid who's made Chicago proud, a multiple prep state champion who was named the nation's best collegiate point guard. And now he's a Chicago Bull. No, it's not Derrick Rose. But the Bulls Thursday in the NBA draft still got a good one with the 38th pick, Illinois' All-American Ayo Dosunmu.
