Thanks for posting. Sun Times basketball writer, Joe Henricksen, is one of the best in his business. Unlike a lot of high school basketball writers, he actually spends the time to go out and watch the kids during the season and summers, too.
The class of 2022 is said by some to be deep in D1 talent, even though unlike most years, there aren't any 5-star players and the national rankings only show two 2022 Illinois kids in the Top 150 recruits nationally (Casey at #22 and Craft at #93)

I believe DC also mentioned Xavier Amos, #9, as a player being followed.

#1 Casey and #8 Avila played on the same Jr High team.

With the deep Illinois recruiting classes of 2022 and 2023, it appears these next two classes are the first years under Coach Wardle that Bradley is this involved with the top talent in Chicago and in the state of Illinois. Our coaches have focused more on out of state and international kids for the first 6 recruiting classes of the Wardle era. It's too early to know how well it will pay off, and it will be tough, since the competition for Chicago area talent is always so much more intense, with dozens of high-major and mid-major Division I schools having strong connections and recruiting the Chicago area hard.

You forgot to highlight the key words DC when recruiting the Chicago area.
