I don't doubt that might be the starting lineup at some point, but Ville and Boya have to be in the mix too.
5- Boya
4- Mast
3- Henry
2- Ville
1- Howell
Looking at the lineup it’s a difficult year to pick the starters this early but it just for fun. I’ve got,
5 - Mast
4 - Leons
3 - Henry
2 - Roberts
1 - Howell
I agree with your starters, though I could see Ekono, Montgomery or Hannah possibly earning a starting role before the season ends. As was alluded to elsewhere, you don't bring in the juco POY and not start him immediately.

Coach Wardle said yesterday on an MVC Coaches teleconference that Ari Boya is getting healthy and is practicing, but that he is taking every third day off (because of his foot/ankle issues). Wardle said, “He’ll probably do that the rest of his career here." Because of that, I will guess that Boya's playing time will be carefully managed and he may not start. There is a lot of quality depth on this team, and I think the starting lineup and playing rotation could evolve over time.
Only 2 starters seem certain, IMO (Henry & Mast). So the others probably need to win their starting spots.
4-5- Leons & Mast
3- Henry
2- Tahvanainen
1- Roberts

I'd swap out Roberts for Ville and agree with this lineup, but I don't know enough about Roberts to say. Sounds like he's pretty good defensively which could give him the nod over Ville for the starting role, but if last year taught us anything, it's that we are going to need scoring from the guard position and we're all expecting a big bounce back year out of Ville. All that being said, it sounds like Roberts has some offensive game, as well, but I just expect Wardle to stick with Ville since he's been with the program so much longer. Either way, it sure is nice to have options. Let's hope everyone lives up to their potential this year!

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.
This team is so deep I think if you picked 2 5-man teams the second five could give the starting five a run for their money. I can not decide on the guards although I think Ville needs to play alot. However, my front line would be Mast, Leons and Henry. In fact I consider that front line the best in the MVC

Coach Wardle also appeared on the WMBD morning show with Greg Batton and Dan DiOrio Thursday (7/1).
He had a couple interesting things to say...

I have mixed feelings about starting Henry. I like the energy and scoring that he brings off the bench. He seemed to have difficulties with fouls in several games. I also like the scoring that Ville brings to the 'second' team.
I don't know enough to name a starting 5. I am just looking forward to following the information about the current team, recruiting and games this year.
I am still staying with: Leons, Mast, Henry, Howell and Roberts.
After watching them play last night, I have to agree with this lineup. I still think Ville will be a starter once he comes back healthy, but I wouldn't bet on it. Howell and Roberts both looked really good and I think the defense they bring will keep them as starters.
