  • Former Bradley guard Antonio Thomas transfers to Kentucky Wesleyan College

Antonio Thomas, who spent 2 seasons at Bradley then entered the NCAA Transfer Portal last March has committed to Division II Kentucky Wesleyan College. KWC has historically had great basketball teams. They have won 8 NCAA Division II National Championships (1966, 1968, 1969, 1973, 1987, 1990, 1999, and 2001), more than any other school. They also finished runner-up 5 times (1957, 1998, 2000, 2002, and 2003). As recently as 2017 they finished 28-3, were undefeated in conference play, won their conference tournament and played in the D2 NCAA Tournament.
But they are coming off 3 losing seasons out of the last 4, though they were 10-6 this past year in the Covid-shortened season, and they were 9-5 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
Their 2 primary point guards were both seniors last season, so depending on whether they return for an extra year, Antonio may get a chance for some decent playing time right away and for the next 3 years.
    Good luck to Tonio!

Good luck, Antonio! You will get them back to relevance!

I've got a theory that if you give 100 percent all of the time, somehow things will work out in the end.
