Bradley women's head coach Andrea Gorski offers Aaliyah Guyton-
She is the daughter of Peorian A.J. Guyton, who was a consensus 1st team All-American and Big Ten POY at Indiana. Her mother is also a basketball legend. Adriana Moises Pinto-Mafra, who A.J. met while playing in Italy, is one of the greatest Brazilian women's players of all time. She played on the Brazil National Team in the Olympics five times and also for the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury in her 20-year pro career.
Aaliyah did not play her freshman season because of Covid and will be a sophomore this fall, hopefully at Peoria Central High School. The Guytons are considering having Aaliyah play at IMG Academy in Florida if they can't be assured there will be a normal 2021-22 high school season in Illinois. She will be one of the top girl's players nationally in her class of 2024.
