Are there any videos of Connor playing from this last year? I did a quick google search and find stuff from the previous year and am curious how he progressed.

Connor did not play at all his senior year. That is why you won't find any video of him from this past season.
He injured his shoulder last September and underwent a surgical repair in mid-October- https://www.bradleyfans.com/forum/sp...244#post494244
He might have been able to try a comeback by the late part of this past high school season, especially since the season was pushed back a bit by Covid. But he didn't want to rush his recovery, so he skipped his entire senior season and spent the time recovering fully, then working out on his own. This spring, he played regularly in pickup games against college players from Indiana U. and other schools, and I hear he held his own.
He is now 100% and doing very well. https://www.bradleyfans.com/forum/sp...038#post498038
The only videos are these brief ones from a workout in April-
Appreciate the effort. It’s always hard to tell how talented a player is from game highlight videos, but it’s almost impossible to tell from workout videos lol
Yes! 1st thing I noticed when I looked at the left side of players.
2nd thing I noticed is that Ja'shon seems to have shrunk a little. LOL
Ja'Shon does appear to be shorter in that screen shot from the video than Howell and Burger, who are both listed as 6'3". But I am pretty sure it is just some odd effect from the camera angle or his posturing. I am sure he is still the same height as he has been the last 3 seasons at Bradley.

And three pictures of Jayson Kent from senior year in HS, December 22, 2020 (Missouri game), and from June 18, 2021

I, like many Braves fans, have high hopes for Mr. Kent the next 3 seasons. The kid showed no fear in a few games where he seemed to show his ability, most memorably the Mizzou game.
I hope that our freshmen from last year don't have the typical soph funk. I can't explain it, but most of our guys that show potential their 1st season go thru a sophomore funk for the better part of the season.
Looking f/w to the development of Kent, Mast, and Hannah! (having higher expectations of improvement from Hannah out of these 3)

Yes, the "sophomore slump" is a phenomenon seen most often in perimeter shooters. Not all basketball people agree on what the causes are or whether it really exists. But, I have talked to a few coaches over the years who believe it is a real effect from weight training and how that can affect the muscle mechanics of shooting. When a high school kid transitions to college, they undergo a lot of weight training needed to compete at the higher college level. So they build up that muscle over their first year, and by the second year, they are much stronger. But the changes in the muscles can affect the fine coordination needed by perimeter shooters. Over time, they are usually able to readjust and the effect on shooting usually disappears.
A couple examples-
Jeremy Crouch showed this effect. He had a terrific freshman season in which he started 24 games, played 27 mpg, shot 37% from three, and averaged 8.3 ppg, But, Jeremy's production plummeted his sophomore year (No starts, 13 mpg, 24% from three, and just 4.6 ppg), and his minutes mostly went to Will Franklin in that Sweet 16 season (2005-06).- https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb...-crouch-1.html
Yet, Jeremy came back his junior season to shoot 50% from three, despite a knee injury that caused him to 8 games, and he lead the country in 3 point FG%.
